Grants MainStreet is here to help local businesses grow, stay visible, and connect with more residents and visitors. This page brings together helpful tools for businesses in the Grants MainStreet District, including Visit Grants tourism promotion, the business intake form, New Mexico True partner resources, Google Business Profile support, and other useful business resources.
Visit Grants helps promote local restaurants, shops, attractions, lodging, events, and visitor-facing businesses in Grants. If your business serves visitors, travelers, Route 66 tourists, or local residents, we encourage you to make sure your information is accurate and up to date.
Businesses may be featured through Visit Grants website listings, tourism materials, event promotions, social media content, and other local marketing efforts when appropriate. To help us promote your business correctly, please make sure we have your most current business information.
Please submit or update the following information:
Business name, contact name, physical address, phone number, public-facing email if different, website or social media link, type of business, days and hours of operation, a short 1 to 2 sentence description, and one horizontal photo if available.
The Business Intake Form helps Grants MainStreet and Visit Grants better understand your business and how we can support you. This form may be used to update business listings, identify promotional opportunities, share business resources, and better connect MainStreet businesses with local projects and programs.
Please complete the form if your business is new to the district, recently changed ownership, updated its hours, moved locations, added services, or wants to be included in future MainStreet or tourism-related promotions.
Information that is especially helpful includes correct hours, accurate address and phone number, current photos, business category, website or social media link, and holiday or seasonal hours.
Businesses connected to tourism, hospitality, events, dining, shopping, lodging, outdoor recreation, arts, culture, or Route 66 are encouraged to explore New Mexico True partner resources through the New Mexico Tourism Department.
The New Mexico Tourism Department allows tourism-related businesses and organizations to add listings, events, special deals, and discounts through its Partner Portal. These listings can help businesses reach visitors planning trips across New Mexico.
New Mexico True also offers partner and brand resources for tourism-related businesses that want to connect their marketing with the larger New Mexico True brand.
A complete and accurate Google Business Profile is one of the most important tools for any local business. This is often the first thing people see when they search for your business on Google Search or Google Maps.
Businesses should claim or add their Business Profile, verify ownership, and keep key information updated. Google allows eligible businesses to add or claim their profile at no charge.
Make sure your Google Business Profile includes:
Business name, correct address, phone number, business hours, website or social media link, business category, photos, services, holiday hours, and current updates.
Businesses can also use their profile to respond to reviews, add photos, share updates, and help customers find accurate information before they visit.
To make sure your business is easy to find and promote, review these items regularly:
Keep your Google Business Profile updated.
Submit your current business information through the MainStreet Business Intake Form.
Send updated photos when your storefront, menu, products, or services change.
Make sure your hours are correct on Google, Facebook, your website, and any tourism listings.
Share upcoming events, promotions, or major updates with Grants MainStreet.
Check that your business category is accurate online.
Use clear photos that show your storefront, products, food, services, or customer experience.
Update holiday and seasonal hours before busy travel periods.
Grants MainStreet may share information about local business opportunities, promotional programs, district projects, grant opportunities, design improvements, events, and tourism campaigns as they become available.
Businesses in the MainStreet District are encouraged to stay connected so they do not miss opportunities related to storefront visibility, downtown improvements, Route 66 tourism, business promotion, and community events.
If you own or manage a business in the Grants MainStreet District, we encourage you to complete the Business Intake Form and keep your information current. This helps us better promote local businesses, share resources, and support a stronger downtown business district.
